South Sound Foursquare Church is located in Tumwater Washington which is just minutes away from Olympia and an hour south of Seattle. SS4 is a place to be yourself and find the purpose God has planned for your life. Our mission is simply to love God, and love people.
SS4i is a training and discipleship program that is designed to train up the next generation of leaders in the church. It is not a program solely for people who believe they are called to full-time ministry. It is for any who are willing to take a season of life and dedicate it to learning more about God, to loving people, and to figure out what God wants for their lives. But above all, the main goal of SS4i is to make God the unshakeable number one priority for the rest of your life.
The first year very much focuses on that specific goal. Students do not need to feel called to a specific full-time ministry vocation to be in the program. The education, mentoring, ministry, and service opportunities are very much aimed at the single purpose of putting God first.
For second year students we will walk one step further, by really honing in to their specific calling. This part of the program is very much for students who understand that they are called to life long ministry, whether it’s vocational or not. The second year will focus more on their calling, and on learning to lead others.
All SS4i students will gain a solid biblical education, experience hands-on ministry in different areas of the church, and receive personal mentoring.
There is no program that can truly equip anybody for a life with Jesus, or a life of ministry. That work is done by the Holy Spirit in our hearts. So our prayer is that our students walk through this program willing to look at what’s true in their hearts, and then submit those things to the Lord so that they can be built up and released into the fullness of all that He has planned for them.
